ITS Engineer Among IChemE Global Awards 2017 Finalists
Everyone at ITS would like to offer a big congratulations to Wadoud Hazineh, our Senior Applications Engineer, for reaching the finals of the IChemE Global Awards 2017. The IchemE (Institution of Chemical Engineers) boasts over 44,000 members worldwide and hosts the annual IChemE Global Awards gala to recognise and celebrate the achievements of their members. Wadoud is a finalist in the IChemE Young Industrialist category.
Wadoud was nominated based on his work developing and commissioning ITS’s Dens-itometer which has made a big impact on the dredging sector. The Dens-itometer works on the principle of Electrical Resistance Tomography (ERT), earning it praise from corporate social responsibility advocates for carrying no nuclear materials. The Dens-itometer provides continuous slurry monitoring and concentration data regardless of flow regimes by sensing across the full pipeline diameter.
Voting opens on 20th October to all IchemE members at www.icheme.org/awards. The winners will be announced at the Global Award gala in Birmingham, UK on Thursday 2nd November. Log on and show your support for Wadoud!
