New electrical tomography installation in the Netherlands
ITS has strengthened its presence in the European market by installing another tomography system in the Netherlands; this time at TNO – the country’s largest research institute.
Founded in 1932, TNO (Nederlandse Organisatie voor Toegepast Natuurwetenschappelijk Onderzoek) is an independent research organisation that works with companies to connect people and knowledge, in order to foster innovation and sustainability in industry. TNO’s new electrical resistance tomography system will be used to validate CFD models, bringing new dimensions to the organisation’s research.
Spending two days at TNO’s Delft facility, ITS engineer Wadoud Hazineh was on hand to assist in the installation of their new system, and to deliver training to engineers who were eager to put their new tomography equipment through its paces. Of his time at TNO, Wadoud reflected:
“It was a real privilege to be able to work with such a talented team of engineers at this leading research institution… we’re thrilled that ITS’s tomography technology can be a part of their exciting work.”
