ITS at NAMF’s Mixing XXIV Conference
In June 2014, representatives from ITS were in attendance at Mixing XXIV – the biennial industrial mixing conference hosted by the North American Mixing Forum (NAMF).
Since its inception in 1967, industrial specialists, academic researchers, and equipment manufacturers have gathered every two years to present new technology and share ideas with the aim of enhancing the field of mixing. What’s more, the biennial NAMF conference provides an excellent environment for the development of relationships between different organisations, fostering a sense of cooperation and collaboration. To this end, the 2014 conference was held at the picturesque Sagamore Resort in Bolton Landing, NY, overlooking Lake George (pictured below).
Representing ITS was the company’s CEO, Ken Primrose (pictured above, second from the right); who was showcasing ITS’s latest tomography software and our mixing control solutions, made possible by ITS’s I/O Box module. Ken’s demonstration wowed conference attendees by showing how the addition of a new ingredient to a vessel can trigger the mixer to switch on, and turn off again once mixing is complete.
Of his time at the conference, Ken remarked:
“Feedback on the new software was enthusiastic and encouraging. Delegates saw new features; a more contemporary user interface and were impressed by closed loop monitoring and control of mixing.”
