Research Projects Update
14/12/2007
ITS continues to make progress with the development of an acoustic platform for the m3000 and a high speed impedance instrument. A number of existing customers will be taking delivery of these systems in Dec 07 and Jan 08 and we will provide details of their capabilities on ITS website early in the New Year.
In response to interest from the life sciences sector, ITS has been working in conjunction with ABB so that it can provide validated instrumentation for the pharma sector. This is an extensive project involving introduction of new management systems (enhancing our ISO 9001 standards) and external review of our software code. The project should be completed by spring 2008.
In addition to the above, ITS continues to update its core software platform, v6.0 of the software included a new reconstruction algorithm for use in systems with gas hold-ups or solid concentrations above 15%. The next release should provide for integration of auxiliary sensors (such as temperature or absolute conductivity) to be integrated with the p2000.
