m3000 Upgraded

The m3000 has been significantly upgraded. The instrument can now perform:
ERT measurements:
- 32, 16 or 8 electrodes
ECT measurements:
- 24, 12 or 8 measurements
Improved sensitivity:
File compatibility with ITS Tomography Toolsuite
There is also a more substantial library of settings that facilitate use of the instrument under different system configurations. Of particular interest is the fusion of ECT (Electrical Capacitance Tomography) and ERT (Electrical Resistance Tomography) tomography data to determine three phase concentrations of a multi-component system. This allows the simultaneous measurement of oil water and gas and it is believed that this is one of the first times that a single measurement platform has been able to display multi-phase flow concentrations in real time. It is also believed that this the first time that two process tomography data streams have been acquired and analysed on the same measurement platform.
