ITS User Day - Urbis 6th November 2009

The 2009 ITS user day brought together more than 30 delegates from ITS customers, staff and international representatives.People travelling from overseas were able to enjoy a Nov 5th Guy Fawkes fireworks display and a meal together on Manchester's famous Curry Mile.

 The meeting programme covered

  • 4 user presentations
  • launch of the new p2+ and latest of ITS's software
  • update on ultrasound spectroscopy including demonstration of in line sensors
  • technical forum on the benefits of advanced referencing methods
  • introduction of web-based tomography training modules

In addition to the formal programme, there were extended breaks where users from different fields were able to discuss their work.  This allowed people from petrochem and hydraulics conveying to discuss flow; life sciences, speciality chemicals and nuclear waste management to discuss ultrasound spectroscopy and a range of other connections to be established.

Users were also able to meet the ITS team behind the technology - the electronics engineers and programmers responsible for delivering ITS products to market. A rewarding opportunity for all concerned.
