10/01/17 - Tomography 2017 – Where to Find ITS Throughout 2017
Each year ITS representatives travel the globe showcasing our tomography systems and explaining the benefits our systems can have upon process control. This year is no exception, you will be able to find our representatives at a number of industry spanning events, beginning with:
Introduction to Process Tomography Lecture: Northampton, 17th-19th January 2017
First up in 2017 is CPACT’s process spectroscopy course. ITS teaches the ‘introduction to process tomography’ module on the first day of the intensive three day course. This course is a fantastic opportunity, for anyone aiming, to acquire or develop their knowledge of process analysis. The speakers on the course have all been carefully selected and are amongst the brightest lights in spectroscopy. Additionally, the course will involve exposure to the very latest procedures and instrumentation.
Workshop on Multiphase Flow Measurement: Queretaro, 23rd-26th January 2017
This workshop is brought to us through the collaboration of Cranfield University, CIATEQ A.C. Advance Technological Center Mexico, The Newton Fund and The British Council. This event aims to initiate a working relationship between Mexican and British experts in the field of multiphase flow. Representing ITS is our director, Mi Wang who will be delivering an extremely stimulating lecture on the merits of tomographic flow measurement.
North American Dredging Summit: Houston, 8th-9th February 2017
ACI’s North American Dredging Summit (NADS) follows on from the successful European editions of ACI’s Dredging Summit series. NADS presents an evenly balanced itinerary, placing focus on technical, commercial, environmental and case study based topics. This event is a prime opportunity to network and learn with senior level decision makers in the American Dredging Industry.
IFPAC – 2017: Washington, D.C., 27th February- 2nd March 2017
The 31st International Forum for Process Analysis and Control (IFPAC) will be held at the North Bethesda Marriott Hotel, Maryland. IFPAC – 2017 is a forward thinking event covering the latest in Quality by Design, emerging technology and integrated control strategy. IFPAC has set the standards for forums engaging in insightful discussion on the latest news and innovation in process control.
Intelligent Imaging: London, 1st March 2017
The IET Vision and Imaging Network are teaming up with the Knowledge Transfer Network to bring us the Intelligent Imaging seminar. The seminar which was previously delayed in October 2016 is back with a brand new date. The event will undoubtedly prove to be very special indeed as it features a presentation from our CEO Ken Primrose. Ken’s presentation, titled ‘Advances in Process Imaging Using Electrical Tomography’ is not to be missed!
AERC 2017: Copenhagen, 3rd-6th April 2017
Early April marks the return of the Annual European Rheology Conference (AERC), this year the AERC is being co-hosted with the 26th annual Nordic Rheology Conference. AERC 2017 caters for all rheology enthusiasts by covering topics ranging from industrial applications to academic accomplishments. The event has much to offer including prestigious guest speakers and intensive rheology courses.
CPhI North America 2017: Philadelphia, 16th-19th May 2017
The inaugural CPhI North America, is shaping up to be the biggest pharmaceutical event in the United States. The event is being hosted in the Pennsylvania Convention Center, Philadelphia. CPhI North America, will bring regional drug manufacturers together with global suppliers of raw materials, machinery, packaging solutions and contract services; leaving no member of the pharmaceutical chain uncatered for.
The International Symposium on Mixing in Industrial Process: Birmingham, 25th-28th June 2017
ISMIP is a unique symposium, it collects researchers from both industry and academia to engage over their work with mixing. The 9th iteration of the triennial event is placing a heaving focus upon rheology, mixing for manufacturability, mixing within biological processes, mixing in microfluidic dynamics and computational fluid dynamics. ITS representatives will be exhibiting throughout the event and will also deliver a presentation on our work with mixing.
10th World Congress of Chemical Engineering: Barcelona, 1st-5th October 2017
This event is truly one of a kind, as it a collaborates three different conferences: the 10th World Congress of Chemical Engineering, the 11th European Congress of Chemical Engineering and the 4th European Congress of Applied Biotechnology. WCCE10 will be Europe’s premier conference on Chemical engineering in 2017.
Europort 2017: Rotterdam, 7th-10th November 2017
Sailing in to the Rotterdam Ahoy exhibition center is Europort 2017. Europort is well-established as one of the world’s leading maritime exhibitions. The biyearly event attracted close to 30,000 visitors from 40 countries in 2015, receiving glowing testimony from many industry influencers. We here at ITS will be in attendance to talk about how our robust industrial systems can offer serious benefits to offshore vessels and dredgers.
