ITS wows crowds at APACT 15
ITS staff were out in force at the Advances in Process Analytics and Control Technology conference, also known as APACT 15.
Taking place at the Hilton Deansgate in Manchester UK, between 22nd and 24th April 2015, APACT provides an open forum for presenting and discussing the latest engineering and scientific advances relating to process analytics and control technologies.
Attended by well over one hundred delegates – including process engineering professionals, academics, and representatives from commercial PAC technology providers – ITS’s presence at APACT was spearheaded by the company’s newest staff member: Dalia Mikene (pictured above). Of the event, Dalia commented:
“APACT 15 was an excellent opportunity to demonstrate to some of the world’s leading process engineers what a powerful tool tomography can be for process control.”
“Our display stand included a live demo, where it was shown that the addition of a new ingredient to a mixture triggers a stirrer to be switched on; and that once the fluids are thoroughly mixed, this is detected and the stirrer is switched off automatically. It certainly proved popular with delegates – as did the technical presentation I delivered during the conference. All-in-all, it was an extremely worthwhile event that generated a huge level of interest in our tomography technology.”
