ITS exhibited at the 2nd In Situ Oil Sands Summit held in Calgary Canada, the two day event comprised of industry leaders and innovators in the oil-sands oil recovery sector.
The focus, as ever, was on bringing down the steam: oil ratio (SOR), improving efficiency across the processes involved, and keeping up-to-date with cutting edge technologies.
Ken Primrose, Managing Director of ITS, and Edmund Talideh, Application Development Scientist welcomed visitors at the ITS booth to demonstrate the impressive capabilities of the ITS technologies to monitor flow. This technology allows visualisation of water, oil, and air simultaneously as it flows through your pipes live and in-line – something only ITS can offer. For the first time, it is possible to see the water cut, gas void fraction, and oil content of your pipe.
